First Official BWFCST Meeting!
- BWFCST Admin
- Trust Updates
The first official BWFCST Meeting is now scheduled for Thursday 31 March 2016.
The event will take place in the Macron Stadium Premier Suite at 7.45pm (doors open 7.00pm) and will give the steadily growing membership and all other supporters the opportunity to take part in a Q&A session with the trusts' Steering Group.
The event is primarily aimed at allowing BWFCST members to meet with the Steering Group, but fans will be able to join on the evening and all BWFC supporters are welcome to attend. Doors will be open early to allow new members to join and become part of the voice of the fans.
With the first BWFCST elections being currently organised, those attending will be able to put their questions to the Steering Group as well as receiving updates on the progress being made in establishing the Trust as the official voice of the BWFC supporters.
Important Date
And on that subject, the first important date in the election process will be Monday 25 April 2016. This is the deadline date for registration as a BWFCST member to allow participation in the forthcoming election. Any members registered after that date will, of course, receive full members’ privileges, but will not be able to either stand for election to the first BWFCST board, or vote in the election of that board.
That is why it is important for as many members as possible to register before 25 April 2016, as the BWFCST needs your full support and participation as our club enters into a new era under the ownership of the Sports Shield Consortium.
Get Your Ticket For The First Official Meeting
As with the first open meeting held on 06 January 2016, numbers attending will be limited for health and safety reasons. In order to comply, you will need to register for a ticket to ensure entry to the meeting. The tickets are free and can be obtained by scrolling to the bottom of this page, input how many tickets you need, add the tickets to your cart and checkout. You will receive your ticket details via email upon completion. These can be printed off or shown upon entrance to the meeting.
Please do your best to attend, as your club needs the fans’ representation in moving forward in the quest for stability and sustainability. The events of 07 March 2016, when our club was within minutes of ceasing to exist, must never be allowed to happen again.
