Nominations Being Accepted
Lines are now open for BWFCST members to put their nominations forward for election to the trust board.
Any member who wishes to put themselves forward for election should now send a completed Nomination Form to Electoral Reform Services, The Election Centre, 33 Clarendon Road, London N8 0NW. All forms (posted or emailed) are to be received by ERS before 5.00pm on Monday 20 November 2017.

Meet the Candidates
It is proposed to hold a meet the candidate event on the evening of Wednesday 22 November 2017 (time and venue to be confirmed). On the evening, there will be an opportunity for BWFCST members to meet the prospective candidates and to put questions to the potential board members before the voting process starts on 27 November 2017. Existing retained board members will also be present on the evening.
Election Timeline
The election timeline is as follows:
27 Oct ‘17 Registration closed for members to stand as a candidate in the elections. Any member who wishes to submit a nomination form should have registered as a BWFCST member by this date
30 Oct ’17 Open nominations. Any member wishing to stand for election to the BWFCST board can submit a completed nomination form to Electoral Reform Services from this date
13 Nov ’17 Registration closes for members to vote in the elections. Any member who wishes to be eligible to vote will need to be registered as a BWFCST member by this date
20 Nov ’17 Close nominations. All nominations from members wishing to stand for election to the BWFCST board will need to have forwarded their completed nomination form by 5.00pm on this date
22 Nov ’17 Meet the Candidate Evening
27 Nov ’17 Issue ballot packs and open voting
08 Dec ‘17 Voting closes
15 Dec ‘17 Results announced
Important Election Documents
The Board Nomination Form contains guidance notes regarding the eligibility of members to stand for election. Specific attention is drawn to clause 5.9 of the Election Policy which refers to the requirements of any elected board member to submit a signed Board Membership and Conduct Policy prior to taking his/her place on the Board.
